Sampling & process access.
Hygienic sample and bleed valves and reusable sample bottle assemblies. Four orientations, USP Class VI seal, less than one turn open to closed · US-made in Carson City since 1996.
Sample / Bleed Valves
Four orientations on one mechanism. The Aquasyn sample/bleed valve revises the original industry design with improvements visible at a glance, and machines each one from 316L bar stock with no castings.
Machined from 316L bar stock, precision machining, and surface finishes from 25Ra to 5Ra with ASME BPE-compliant chemistry. Bodies machined from 316L austenitic stainless steel bar stock · no castings whatsoever · and fully traceable with material test reports (MTRs) and heat numbers as standard procedure. Configurable across body type, end connection, surface finish, and operation.
A separate product line, not a diaphragm valve variant. This is the distinction that matters when you are specifying. A sample/bleed valve has no diaphragm. Sealing is done by a TFM tip pressed into the 316L stem, closing directly against the body seat. There is no EPDM, no silicone, no Viton, and no PTFE-faced diaphragm anywhere in the assembly, so the compound-selection question that governs the diaphragm line simply does not apply here. It also carries its own part-number scheme rather than sharing the diaphragm valve matrix.
Two consequences worth knowing up front. The outlet tops out at ½" · the inlet takes any standard hygienic clamp size, but this family is built for small-bore sampling and bleed duty rather than process line sizes. And it should not be confused with the sample bottle assemblies further down this page: those do use a diaphragm valve, and they are configured and quoted on the diaphragm side.

Sample Bottle Assembly
An industry-standard reusable sample bottle with an integrated Valbow® valve. Built for engineers who prefer a re-usable, autoclavable component over a disposable one.
Aquasyn's sample bottle assembly solves a number of process problems and has become the industry standard. Designed for re-use, fully autoclavable, available in 250 mL and 500 mL with color-coded caps for process identification. Unlike most designs in this category, Aquasyn also offers inspection and refurbishment services on sample bottle assemblies · a maintenance path most vendors do not provide.

- Bottle sizes 250 mL and 500 mL
- Color-coded caps · process identification
- Fully autoclavable
- Lightweight assembly
- Integrated Valbow® valve
- Stocked product · ships from inventory
Service offering
- Inspection service
- Refurbishment service · uncommon in category
- Custom designs available
- Re-usable alternative to disposables
- Industry-standard acceptance

Bar stock. Never castings.
Every Aquasyn sample valve body is machined from 316L austenitic stainless steel bar stock. No castings. No porosity. No traceability gaps. The shape and chemistry are documented from the heat to the finished assembly, with the MTR shipped as standard.
That's how a sample valve earns its place on a GMP audit trail · and why Aquasyn is on the spec at biopharm sites that won't compromise on documentation.
Where Aquasyn sampling valves do the work.
Specified across high-purity processes where sampling integrity and audit traceability are non-negotiable.
