This page covers aquasyn.com: what the site collects, when, why, who sees it, and how to ask us about it. It does not cover other Aquasyn or Alphinity systems, such as order processing or the QuickBooks records tied to an existing account.

Just browsing the site

Aquasyn can run Google Analytics 4 on this site, measurement ID G-R53B3W7Z49. Whether we ask you first depends on where you are.

In the United Kingdom, the EEA and Switzerland, a banner asks before anything loads. Until you answer, and permanently if you decline, the Analytics script is never loaded and your browser makes no request to Google’s tag server at all.

Everywhere else, including the United States, Analytics starts on your first page view. You can turn it off whenever you like, with the button further down this section. Turning it off clears the cookies and stops the script loading on any later visit.

We work out which of those applies from the country your connection appears to come from, which our host supplies with the request. We do not store it, we do not log it, and it is used for nothing else.

If you allow it, Analytics records which pages you open, how long you stay, which site or search brought you here, your approximate location from your IP address, and what browser and device you used. It does not record your name, none of it is joined to what you type into the configurator later, and we do not upload enquiry data to Google.

Two first-party cookies carry this: _ga and _ga_R53B3W7Z49. They let Analytics tell a returning visitor from a new one. Google holds the event data for 14 months, then deletes it. Declining clears both cookies if an earlier visit set them.

Advertising personalization and Google signals are both switched off in our configuration. Aquasyn buys no advertising, so none of this builds an ad profile. We read it to see which products engineers actually spend time on, and which pages waste it.

Your choice lives in your own browser and expires after a year, at which point the banner asks again rather than assuming the old answer still holds. To change it now:

There is no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag, and no session recording or heatmap tool.

Two further things happen automatically, because of how the page is built:

• Fonts. Every page loads Inter and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font this way tells Google the IP address of whoever is viewing the page, the same as any request to a Google server does.
• Video thumbnails. The Videos page shows still images pulled from YouTube’s image service (i.ytimg.com) so you can see what a video is before playing it. Those images load as the page loads, which also discloses your IP address to Google. The video player itself does not load until you click a thumbnail; at that point the page opens a youtube-nocookie.com embed, which is YouTube’s reduced-tracking mode, not YouTube itself.

Neither of those two sets a cookie, and neither is covered by the analytics choice above. They happen on every visit because the page cannot render without them, and both disclose your IP address to Google. Declining analytics does not stop them. A browser extension that blocks third-party requests will, along with Analytics, and nothing on the page breaks.

Building a configuration or requesting a quote

The Configure & Quote tool asks for information at two points: while you are building a part number, and on the review screen before you send it to engineering.

What the review screen asks for

Name, company, and work email are required. Phone is optional. We also ask who you are (distributor, biotech or pharma end user, OEM, or other), the application, how many you need and by when, and the process conditions: media or fluid, flow, minimum and maximum temperature, maximum pressure, and viscosity. If you are configuring a custom piece, we also ask for a plain-language description of what you are building. You can attach a sketch, drawn in the built-in sketch pad or otherwise, as a PNG image.

Fields marked required have to be filled in before the Request formal quote button will submit. Phone, need-by date, flow, and viscosity are optional and can be left blank.

What happens when you click send

Your name, company, and email, plus a formatted message containing everything else you entered (role, quantity, application, process conditions, and the part decode), are sent to sales@aquasyn.com through Resend, an email delivery service. If you attached a sketch, it is sent as a file attached to that same message. The message is set up so that a reply from sales goes back to the email address you gave, not to a shared inbox.

Mitch, Doug, or Pedro on the business development team reads and answers these enquiries, depending on region.

What stays in your browser

The configurator saves your in-progress build to your browser’s local storage, under the key aquasyn.configurator.v1, so a reload, an accidental back button, or a laptop going to sleep does not cost you a fifteen-step build. This is a browser feature, not a server: the data sits only on your device until you send it.

What gets saved there is more than the part number. It includes whatever you have typed into the review screen at the time, which can include your name, company, email, phone, and the process fields listed above. It is written every time the wizard moves between steps, so if you type into those fields and then navigate back or forward, that information is included in what is saved locally, even before you click send.

A sketch you have drawn or attached is not saved to local storage. It stays only in the page’s active memory and is lost if you reload before sending it.

Local storage is cleared automatically once your enquiry sends successfully, or if you dismiss the resume prompt without continuing. Short of that, there is no automatic expiry: it stays on your device until one of those happens or until you clear your browser’s site data yourself. It never leaves your browser on its own; it is only sent to Aquasyn when you click Request formal quote.

Who this goes to, and why

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes. Resend keeps a copy of the message content and its delivery logs for 30 days, then removes them.

How long we keep it

An enquiry sent through the configurator lands in the sales mailbox as an ordinary email, sketch attached where you sent one. We keep it for 24 months after we last hear from you, then delete it. That covers the time a project usually takes to move from a first enquiry to an order, and a repeat order after it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we do.

Your choices

• You can decline analytics: on the banner if you are shown one, or from the button further up this page if you are not. Declining is one click, the same as allowing, and it stops the Analytics script loading at all rather than merely switching off its cookies.
• You can fill out and send a configurator enquiry without giving a phone number, a need-by date, a flow rate, or a viscosity figure; those fields are optional.
• You can clear the configurator’s saved progress at any time from the resume prompt, or by clearing your browser’s site data for aquasyn.com.
• You can browse every page other than the configurator and quote form without giving us any personal information at all.
• You can use a browser extension or setting that blocks third-party requests to reduce what Google Fonts and YouTube see, at the cost of the site falling back to a system font and losing video previews.

Asking for a copy or deletion

To ask what we hold about you from a submitted enquiry, or to ask us to delete it, email privacy@aquasyn.com. We answer within 30 days. Tell us the email address you used and roughly when you sent the enquiry, because that is how we find it.

Who this site is for

Aquasyn sells hygienic process components to businesses. This site and its configurator are built for engineers, procurement staff, and quality personnel acting on behalf of a company, not for personal or household use, and not for children.
